Sewanhaka High School is proud to announce its first National Social Studies Honor Society induction.
H. Frank Carey High School held its annual Senior Awards Night on May 26 honoring 142 seniors for their academics, community involvement and/or their personal qualities. The event was organized by the Pupil Personnel Services Department, under the direction of chairperson Danielle Amato.
The Board of Education presented Distinguished Service Resolutions to outgoing trustees Joseph Armocida and Joan Romagnoli during its June 28 meeting at Sewanhaka High School.
H. Frank Carey recently hosted seventh- and eighth-grade award assemblies to acknowledge hard working Carey students.
Sewanhaka High School junior Shafaq Khan was named a finalist in the Friends of Sagamore Hill Theodore Roosevelt Public Speaking contest in May.
After years of hard work and dedication, New Hyde Park Memorial’s Class of 2016 completed their high school experience when they took hold of their diplomas at their commencement ceremony at Hofstra University’s David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex on June 26.
