    The Board of Education of Education hosted it's second meeting at Sewanhaka High School on Wednesday to discuss the budget for the 2015-2016 school year. The next presentation will be held on Thursday April 17th, 2015 at 7pm. The public is welcome to attend.

  • SAT Exam Date and Preparation Courses Announced

    On the morning of Saturday, May 2, 2015, the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) will be given. Since most Colleges require SAT I scores for admission, the Sewanhaka Central High School District is again pleased to offer an SAT Prep course designed specifically to meet the needs of our college-bound students.

  • New Fall 2015 7th Grade Model

    A number of important changes are being planned for implementation next fall with the incoming 7th grade. These changes will assist students with the transition from elementary to secondary school, and will better prepare more students to access advanced level opportuntities when they get to high school.

  • Electronic Signs for Sewanhaka

    The announcement came at the Oct. 28 BOE meeting, with Legislator Carrié Solages delivering the news. Solages said the funds were allocated as part of a bipartisan effort between Legislators Vincent T. Muscarella, Richard J. Nicolello and Laura Schaefer.
