The district administration and Board of Education are responsible for developing an annual budget that will meet the needs of all of its students. The proposed budget increase of 2.94% and tax levy increase of 2.26% is fiscally responsible and yet still ensures student success.
The Sewanhaka Central High School District will have a 2 hour delayed opening on Tuesday, April 17, Wednesday, April 18, and Thursday, April 19 for students in grades 9 through 12. There will be no delayed opening for 7th and 8th grade students, who should report to school for a nutritional breakfast and their statewide ELA exam at 7:30 a.m.
The winter months are almost behind us and we anticipate the arrival of spring. For many reasons, March is a special month in the Sewanhaka District.
Reminder to Parents of Private and Parochial School Children: Transportation Request Due by April 1.
