What is Destiny?
Destiny is our web-based library catalog, which allows you to search for library books and websites on any topic, both from school and while at home.
What are eBooks and the Follett Shelf?
The Follett Shelf is where our eBook collection is stored on the web. You can search for library ebooks, both from school and while at home. Please remember to "close" the book when done!!!
How does the Follett Shelf and eBooks work? You must sign in to the Follett Shelf with the nhplibrary username and password in order to view the ebooks. Just click on an ebook you like and you can read it online. If you would like to "checkout" an ebook and read it offline, you will need to sign into your Destiny account. How does Destiny work?
- Destiny is web-based, so it can be used from any internet connected computer.
- Destiny shows all books available at the NHPM High School Library, and at all other district libraries too!
Destiny allows a user to make a booklist of books and website selections, just remember to sign-in to your Destiny account if you would like to save your lists!
Destiny creates a bibliography from a booklist with a touch of one button.
Destiny MyQuest allows users to create their own "virtual" bookshelves of books they've read and books they want to read, which they can then share with their friends!
