Dedicated to helping Carey students in every way possible, the Carey PPS department has once again partnered with Adelphi University to bring America Reads/America Counts to Carey for a third consecutive year. This federally funded Work Study program matches qualified Adelphi students with H. Frank Carey students needing assistance in Math and English. Under the supervision of Guidance Counselors Angela Palumbo and Elizabeth Ramirez, the tutors work with students during their lunch periods or after school to improve these critical skills.
