Standardized Testing for College Entrance
Both The College Board and American College Test organization offer specialized assessments which many colleges use to help determine a student's suitability for higher education. The College Board sponsors the Scholastic Aptitude Test (the Reasoning Test and Subject Tests), Advanced Placement tests and other assessments. The American College Test organization sponsors the ACT.
Students requiring testing accommodationsmust apply to use them for these assessments. Speak with your (or your child's) guidance counselor early on in their high school career to make this request.
