There is a private facility that is opening in Williston Park. The final preparation of the details is being made, but the main focus of the services will be to provide social skills groups and educational services for children on the autism spectrum. This facility will be offering ABA, in addition to a variety of unique programs, such as a breakfast club; allowing children to prepare meals and interact with their peers using joint action routines (dietary restrictions taken into consideration of course), yoga for kids; which we will call Yogaba, centers where each child will rotate activities within an allotted time and interact with new partners, as well as having typically developing children serve as peer models whenever possible.

We are currently looking for volunteers that would like to serve as peer models for our clients during play sessions.  We would be honored if some students that attend your school would volunteer at our facility.  Please advise whom I should contact if this is a possibility.
