    This program is a pre-college summer program for current high school sophomores and juniors from the NY Metro area.  The curriculum will include workshops and small group sessions on college admissions, college entrance test preparation (SAT and ACT), essay and resume writing, interviewing and presentation skills, and financial aid literacy.  Program graduates will be certified College Access Ambassadors and will be required to act as mentors and advisors in their respective high schools by conducting a college application workshop.  Students admitted to the program will be awarded a scholarship that will cover all program costs.

  • Pratt Institute - Pre-College Summer 2013

    Each summer, approximately 400 high school students seize the opportunity to experience residential or non-residential college-level study in Pratt Institute's Pre-College program.  Students attend in order to explore studying art, design, architecture, or creative writing.  The schedule consists of two courses that are college credit-bearing classes, and two non-credit, pass/fail courses designed to supplement the core curriculum, as well as lectures, and cultural and social events.
