Course Title:              Sports Marketing

1.                     Students must have the following supplies: 3 ring binder, paper, pen, and pencil. Notebook will be checked each marking period.

2.         Homework is located on the whiteboard, the teacher website or on an assignment sheet. Homework assignments involve reading, essay writing, projects, problems, and answering short questions. Homework is collected every time.

3.         Quizzes and tests are announced at least a week in advance. There will be approximately 5-10 quizzes and/or tests each marking period. Quizzes and tests consist of short answers, essay, multiple choice, true/false.

4.         This course is project based. There will be approximately 5-10 projects each marking period.

5.         Students will be responsible for making up any assignments and obtaining any materials missed due to absence from class.

Report card grade formula: (Approximate percentage for each category)

Test/Quizzes= 35%

Projects= 35%

Participation= 20%

Homework= 10%
